Daryl Conner holistically styles pets at her FairWinds Grooming Studio in Appleton, Maine. She is a certified Petcare Dermatech Specialist, Master Pet Stylist, Meritus and Certified Master Cat Groomer. She serves as Vice President of the Professional Cat Groomers Association of America. Daryl writes monthly articles for Groomer to Groomer and Pet Age magazines and is author of the book Practical Grooming Tips. She is the recipient of the coveted 2005 Cardinal Crystal award for Journalism and the ’06 and ‘07 award for Congeniality, and the 2013 Barkleigh award for writing. Daryl is proud to be the U.S. ambassador for the German Red Clipper. Known for her fun and informative educational classes at grooming shows across the country, Daryl's grounded, friendly style makes her an approachable and popular teacher. With 30 years of grooming experience, her abiding love of animals and passion for our trade radiates out to everyone she touches through her work.

Mary is the owner of Pawsitively Pretty Mobile Grooming Salon, as well as Hands And Paws-Reiki For All in Connecticut. She is the East Coast Chair of the Professional Cat Groomers Association of America and a board member of the newly formed Society of Holistic Pet Stylists. Mary is the recipient of the 2012 David Salzberg Award For Outstanding Achievement In The Pet Industry and was nominated for Blogger Of The Year in 2012 and 2014 by Barkleigh Productions. Mary is a nationally recognized speaker at pet industry educational conferences and trade shows, as well as writes for several national publications. She is a Reiki Master and an Advanced Crystal Master.

Chris is a career pet stylist and dog person of over 30 years. Currently she is the owner and operator of Finer DeTails Pet Spa & Wellness Center in Mazomanie, WI. She has multiple national grooming certifications from the NDGAA, IPG, and WAPPS and is a Certified Canine Esthetician specializing in canine skin & coat care and nutrition. Christein is the first pet groomer and industry teacher to ever gain her accredited title as a Holistic Animal Educator, thru the HAA. Chris has also attained her CCMT degree, and is a Master Level Usui Reiki Practitioner. As well she is certified in basic Canine Kinesiology, Pet Aromatherapy, Dancing Lights Color Therapy, and has attained enrichment certification in Flower Essence Therapy, Canine Acupressure, TTouch, and Energy Balancing. In addition to her efforts within the grooming salon and its industry, Chris is the founder of the Wisconsin Association of Professional Pet Stylists, and as a breeder of Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, she also sat as the WI State Director for the National Cavalier Rescue Trust and helps in small breed dog rescue & foster work. Chris actively writes and is the author of several guidebooks, has created her own line of all natural canine spa products, Canine Spa Therapies, and a newly formed aromatherapy business specifically for groomers & their pets, Groom Therapy.

A passion for artistic pet styling, my love of working with animals, and my uncompromising attention to detail compelled me to launch Bonsai Pet in 2008. I’m an award-winning stylist and groomer with more than 10 years of experience. Regularly competing in styling and grooming events keeps me challenged and continues to strengthen my eye for detail and commitment to providing pets with an individualized grooming experience.
Barbara Bird, has been practicing Holistic Pet Grooming at her business, Transformation Pet Center in Tucson, AZ since 1977. She is the creator of “The Scented Groomer” line of aromatherapy products for pets and people, and the author of “Beyond Suds & Scent – Understanding Pet Shampoos and Conditioners”. With her compassion for animals and her understanding of cosmetic chemistry, Barbara has become an important voice in the pet grooming industry. She is the recipient of the Cardinal Crystal Award for “Outstanding Journalist” for 2006 and 2007, and the winner of the Barkleigh Honors Award for “Best Blog” for 2011 and 2012.
Sue Palmer is a Certified Professional Dog Groomer and Stylist with internationally recognized qualifications of distinction and a genuine love of dogs. With a family background working with animals, Sue’s instinctive ability and natural rapport with dogs is backed up by her impressive credentials.
With a now grown family Sue returned to her childhood passion and trained in Melbourne with International Certified Master Groomers Melanie Newman and Nicky Renwood. She also holds a City and Guilds Licentiateship Diploma in Dog Grooming from the London Institute (LCGI) together with an International Model of Pet Styling Distinction from International Professional Groomers, Inc., U.S.A. (IPG). Now based in Bentleigh, Victoria, Australia, Sue’s wealth of experience has come together in Doggies Day Out a boutique dog grooming salon which offers a professional and fun environment specializing in both pet trims and breed specialist styling. As a member of the PIAA which is the National peak pet industry body Sue adheres to a strict National Code of Practice. Sue continues her studies and is currently working towards becoming an International Certified Master Groomer with IPG.
As an Energy Healer with over 30 years experience working with people, Sue Palmer has used various modalities. Since returning to her work with animals she has found this skill has transferred to them. Sue finds dogs respond well to Crystal Healing as well as aromatherapy and hopes to develop and explore this gift further.
Melissa Jepson is an award winning groomer who has been fascinated by all things animal since she hatched, and began trying to get her hands on every animal she could see once she was old enough to toddle.
Her deep love for animals started her volunteering around them at a very young age, and landed her showing/handling dogs as a teenager. During the course of her career she has learned from world class handlers, GroomTeam USA members, and displays her versatility by trying anything once.
She owns the award winning salon Pupscale Dog Grooming in Upland, CA, and showcases a particular interest in shears, equipment, and whole body health. She is a proud member of the NGDAA, the CPPGA, and is certified in CPR and pet first aid.
As a life-long learner with the heart of a teacher and the soul of an artist, Melissa excels at communicating and is passionate about offering gentle, high-end services along with sharing her knowledge with others through seminars and webinars. She owns a goofy Standard Poodle named Brink, a charming Chihuahua named Termite, and a dainty Shih Tzu mix named Lieu.
Lisa is the owner and founder of Kathverena Academy of Animal Holistic Therapies running alongside her grooming salon which is located in Frome Somerset England UK near to Glastonbury which is most famous for its Spiritual connection & Glastonbury Festival . Lisa has always had a connection with animals for over 40 years of owning & showing Rough Collies. Lisa is a member of The Guild of Holistic Therapies in the UK and is a fully qualified therapist for animals & humans, and also a Reiki Master & teacher but likes to be known as a Reiki guide. Lisa enjoys touring the UK guiding other groomers with her courses and workshops. Lisa specializes in spiritual connections with animals & all courses are dedicated to a little Westie dog called Tilly that Lisa owns. Tilly was very badly abused on a puppy farm in the UK. Tilly inspired Lisa to connect the animals on a different level and guide others to respect all animals. Lisa has been invited to may different countries and is looking forward to meeting new and old students alike in the near future.
